About Layer Lab

Layer Lab is a layered image editor built into the Studio. Instead of generating one flat image, you compose scenes from multiple layers — imported photos, AI-generated images, text and more — and refine each one with AI tools.

Projects

Every composition is saved as a project. Your projects appear in a gallery when you open Layer Lab; open one to keep working or start a new one. Work is saved automatically as you go.

Canvas

Pick a canvas size when you create a project (common ratios, and you can change it later). Export resolution is 2K by default; 4K is available on Pro and Business plans — if your plan is capped at 2K, the option shows an upgrade link.

Exporting

Use the save / export dialog to download your work as PNG (choose individual layers, all layers as separate files, or a transparent background), JPG or WEBP.
